Let Your Voice Be Heard!

What is TLC?

  • The members of the Teen Library Council (TLC) meet once a week to voice their opinions and suggestions for library programs, materials development, and how the library can better serve our young adult patrons.
  • Members of TLC also discuss and debate current events. TLC members help create and manage content for The Washingteenian News Website that is being developed to give teens a platform to provide their interpretation of current events and to write about topics that matter to them.

Who can join?

  • ANY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT! :)
  • Anyone in grades 8-12 can be a part of TLC.

When does TLC meet?

  • Meetings are held every Wednesday from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Teen Programming Room of the Young Adult Department at the Fletcher Library Branch in downtown Hagerstown.
