Note: This concert is preceded by a Free workshop for teen musicians. Details below. To help us prepare, please pre-register for the workshop.

The Maryland Wind Festival will host a FREE chamber music workshop for teens on Thursday, June 29 from 10:30AM-12:30PM. We will start the workshop with a short performance by the Maryland Chamber Winds. We will then break students into chamber ensembles and spend the morning working with them on communication and teamwork skills in their music-making. Students will be placed in general 4-part ensembles - all are welcome! After our breakout sessions we will reconvene for student performance with faculty coaching to close the workshop.

We hope that both students and educators will consider attending this unique workshop opportunity! The MWF artist faculty members are passionate educators who come from around the country and abroad - this is a great opportunity for students of any instrument and ability level to work on developing their musicianship!

Be sure to stay around for the Maryland Chamber Winds concert beginning at 1:30 PM.
